Her tenure as Clinical Director at Country Road Operations, a Pathways affiliate, is marked by exceptional leadership in clinical program management and achieving a 100% compliance audit rating from the State of Oklahoma. Respected by peers, coworkers, and clients alike, Kimberly continuously hones her leadership skills to excel in her field. Her academic background is equally impressive, with a Master’s degree in Business from the University of Phoenix, a Master’s of Science in Psychology from Cameron University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.

MJ King'Crawford stands out as a compassionate and dedicated professional in the drug and alcohol rehabilitation industry, bringing her extensive experience and expertise to Pathways Recovery. Her career, spanning over six years, has seen her excel in a variety of critical roles including Regional Director of Compliance, Human Resources Manager, and Regional Case Manager. This diverse skill set, encompassing case management, compliance operations, and human resources, demonstrates MJ’s profound understanding and commitment to the complexities of rehabilitation services.

What truly sets MJ apart is her deep-seated passion for the rehabilitation sector. It's not just a career for her; it's a calling to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those embarking on their recovery journeys. This personal commitment is further enriched by her academic pursuits. MJ is currently expanding her knowledge in International Business at the University of Central Oklahoma, a step that reflects her desire to understand and navigate the global dimensions of business and policy.

Katie Connell is the Executive Director of Sunflower Recovery Center, bringing years of experience in behavioral health and addiction recovery. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Katie now calls Kansas City home.

Her career in behavioral health began after her first year of sobriety, when she took a role as a treatment center technician. That early experience revealed the profound impact this work has—not only on clients, but also on families and entire communities. Driven by that personal connection to the work, Katie quickly advanced through leadership roles, serving as supervisor, manager, Assistant Executive Director, and Executive Director at treatment centers in Oklahoma, Las Vegas, and now Kansas City.

Katie has extensive experience in staff management, program development, compliance and credentialing, and building strong relationships with providers and community partners. She is deeply committed to creating environments where both clients and staff can thrive. For her, the most rewarding part of this work is witnessing transformation—seeing individuals arrive at their lowest points and then watching hope, growth, and progress return.

Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and hanging out with her dog, Marty, who always keeps life entertaining

Tara McDonald brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to her role as Executive Director at Renewal Springs. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Tara earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and has spent over four years working in the recovery field, serving in every level of care—from sober living to residential treatment and now medical detox. Since joining Pathways nearly three years ago, she has advanced from case manager to business office manager, and ultimately to executive leadership, reflecting her commitment to compassionate care.

Tara’s leadership is shaped by her own journey in recovery. Having experienced multiple detox and residential treatment programs firsthand, she brings a unique perspective and an unwavering empathy to her work. She is passionate about creating a space where every client feels seen, supported, and given the chance to break generational cycles of addiction—an opportunity she has embraced in her own life.

Outside of Renewal Springs, Tara enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her partner, daughter, and dogs. She remains actively involved in a 12-step program and works with others walking the same path, embodying her belief that recovery is both a personal and shared journey.
